Day by Day

DAY 1: Guayaquil

Arrival to Guayaquil, transfer to the selected hotel for check in and leave your luggage to start with the scheduled scenic visit.

PM - Guayaquil panoramic excursion

Guayaquil, called by many the “Pearl of the Pacific”, is the largest port in Ecuador. Founded in 1538, Guayaquil is now a dynamic cosmopolitan city, which offers what any major city on the world can. The excursion includes the visit to a number of historical places as Las Peñas, a neighborhood established in 1915, which counts many houses with historical heritage full of brightly painted homes, cafes. Stroll along the Riverfront or Malecon, the Moorish Tower and the famous Caraguay Fish market (morning visits only). Either way by car or on foot, Guayaquil offers great variety of sites and for that constitutes another great place to discover!

DAY 2: Guayaquil- visit to a Coastal Cacao plantation

Learn about the process of the Cacao during a visit to an Hacienda located at the Cerecita Valley east of the city of Guayaquil, which mainly produces the variety Don Homero. This visit opens the opportunity to learn about each of the steps in the process to elaborate “Chocolate”: the sowing, the plantation, the harvest, the fermentation and the drying. At the end, enjoy a glass of Cacao juice and you will be surprised with the flavor. In the afternoon visit to the Orchids display at Ecuagenera, a company specialized in the exportation and the conservation of orchids which opens the possibility to learn and admire a few types of Orchids out of the approximately 4000 varieties present in Ecuador.

DAY 3: Guayaquil
