Day by Day

DAY 1: Quito

Arrival to Quito and transfer to the selected hotel, this transfer takes approximately 45 minutes.

DAY 2: Quito – Half day tour

This half day sightseeing excursion offers the best of Quito with its rich cultural legacy, ornate facades, and dazzling gilt altars. Visit the Independence Square, The Archbishop’s Palace, The Metropolitan Cathedral as well as other very representative samples of colonial art and architecture as the Santo Domingo Convent , the excursion also includes a visit to La Ronda street one of the oldest in the old colonial Quito and at the end a panoramic view of Quito Colonial area from the Panecillo hill gives very good idea of the set-up of the colonial part of the city.

Afternoon:

At leisure to visit Quito on your own or book an optional excursion such as: the National Museum, the Botanical Garden, the Fundación Guayasamín or the Middle of the World.

DAY 3: Quito, optional excursions

Discover the northern highlands and the artisan centers in Peguche or travel south in what has been called the Avenue of the Volcanoes and visit the Antisana Reserve or the Cotopaxi National Park, or travel west to Mindo and enjoy a day in the subtropic learning about the Orchids, butterflies or spend the day birthwatching.
